Our Story

I believe that it's the details that make each quilt truly special. Every stitch and every fabric choice contributes to the overall design, creating a unique piece of art.
- Irene's Quilted Creations -
Irene's Creations isn't your average quilt shop. We ditch the one-size-fits-all approach for something far more captivating: custom-crafted stories. Here, every quilt is more than a covering, it's a conversation piece.

Inspired by her own adventures, Irene isn't bound by patterns. Instead, she embraces the kaleidoscope of fabrics and textures, transforming them into creations as individual as their owners. From a whimsical baby blanket celebrating a new arrival to a cozy piece reminiscent of a cherished family trip, no two creations are ever the same.

Irene loves collaborating with her customers, bringing their unique stories to life through her custom quilting designs. So, if you're searching for something more than just a blanket, step into Irene's world of stitched memories. Here, comfort meets creativity, and every quilt becomes a cherished piece of art, specially crafted to tell your story.

About Irene
Allow me to tell you a little bit about myself. I served in the United States Air Force and then went on to work for the federal government. I was able to travel and live in Europe when I was serving in the military. My daughter was born, in Lakenheath, England, and Spain, Germany, Holland, Scotland, and Ireland were among the countries that we visited throughout our journey across Europe.
Now that I am retired, I am able to engage in activities that I enjoy doing, such as crocheting, knitting, painting, cross-stitching, reading, and quilting, which is my biggest passion. I want to be able to purchase a long-arm quilt machine in the not-too-distant future. This year, I have produced a number of baby quilts and lap quilts for Christmas. During my childhood in New York City, my mother taught both my sister and myself the art of knitting and crocheting at a very young age. Baby items such as blankets, sweaters, and gowns are among the things that I crochet. In addition, I knit sweaters for both myself and for infants. In my craft area, I have recently acquired the skill of cross-stitching, and I use it to create cute little items.
After my retirement, I painted fifty paintings, all of which are displayed in various rooms across my house. I am a mother of five, a grandma of six, and a great-grandmother of one. I am married and have five children. My home is located in the northern part of Florida on a plot of property that is five acres in size.
